Your Role:

As a Corporate Finance Accountant, you will:

• Manage the full month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries, accruals, and the preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions, fixed asset registers, and depreciation schedules.
• Perform variance analysis and provide detailed commentary on management reports to explain deviations between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support financial modeling and cash flow projections to provide actionable insights for strategic and operational planning.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory tax reports (VAT/GST/Corporate Tax) and coordinate responses for internal and external audit queries.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in corporate finance or a core accounting role within a fast-paced business environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA/CA/CMA) is highly regarded.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic financial modeling.
• Strong mastery of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Demonstrated experience in managing tight deadlines for month-end reporting cycles while maintaining 100% data accuracy.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Hands-on experience with enterprise-level ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Previous involvement in budgeting and forecasting cycles at a departmental or corporate level.
• Proven ability to identify and implement process efficiencies or automated workflows within the finance function.
• Experience in intercompany accounting and multi-currency consolidations in a global or regional setting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate financial results to non-finance operational teams.
