Trust Accountant (Project Based)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily Receipting/Daily Bank Reconciliation – Rent payments, RTBA, Refund etc.
Month End Closing
Entering Bills – Owner
Entering Invoice – Tenant
Checking/Approval of Bills
Daily BPay Disbursement – Payment Suppliers/Owners
Daily EFT Disbursement – Payment Suppliers/Owners
Email Actions/ Property Me Task Management
To Charge Leasing Fees/Marketing Fees
To Charge Lease Renewals
Generates Report As Needed
Assisting Property Managers – Regarding payments, statements, and or any Trust
Accountant related task.
Provides Analytical Support to Property Management Team – Trust Accounting
Assist in Audit
Skills, abilities and attitudes required:
1 to 3 years of trust accounting experience for an Australian Real Estate
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience in using Property Management Software preferably Property Me
Proficient in MS Office
Great attention to details
Detail focused
Excellent time management
Be able to work to a daily planner and manage tasks
Ability to work within a team
Able to work in a fast-paced type of environment
Not afraid to ask questions
Someone who is flexible and is adaptable to change
Must have a bubbly/friendly personality and must be confident
