Senior Account Payable Specialist

Role Overview

Accounts Payable Specialist to provide remote support to our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate invoice entry, timely processing of accounts payable in line with Australian accounting standards, and performing regular bank reconciliations. The role requires close collaboration with the finance team to support month-end processes and maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process and record invoices in the accounting system.
• Ensure timely payment of suppliers according to agreed terms.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Assist with compliance and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
