Your Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will work directly with one of our valued clients, leading and managing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth across identified markets. You will be responsible for executing sales strategy, directing team focus, and ensuring consistent pipeline development while partnering closely with Sales and Client Relations teams.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Sales Strategy Execution: Executing sales strategies to achieve new logo goals across assigned markets and segments.

Team Leadership: Managing, coaching, and monitoring the BDR team against established KPIs to drive performance and results.

Targeting & Segmentation: Directing BDR resources toward appropriate targets and ensuring clear segment focus.

Strategic Research: Identifying and researching potential clients through online research, networking, and inbound inquiries.

Lead Qualification Oversight: Managing lead qualification by ensuring alignment between prospect needs and company products or services.

Pipeline Management: Managing and maintaining an active team pipeline within the CRM, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-ups.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with sales teams to align outreach efforts, refine messaging strategies, and identify growth opportunities.

Market Intelligence: Staying informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitors to uncover new business opportunities.

Performance Reporting: Providing regular updates and reports on key performance indicators, including qualified leads, meetings set, conversion rates, and revenue opportunities.

Revenue Growth: Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and volume across assigned markets.

Client Feedback Coordination: Partnering with the Client Relations team to gather customer feedback and support product improvement initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities: Performing other duties as assigned to support business objectives

What You Need

To succeed in this role with our client, you should possess:

Sales Leadership Experience: 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a management role, ideally leading an inside sales team.

Industry Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with GIS, Real Estate, AEC, Government, and/or Insurance industries is preferred.

Exceptional Communication: High proficiency in speaking and writing American English, ideally with a neutral or American accent.

Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.

Sales Enablement Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Gong, Outreach, Highspot, and LinkedIn is preferred but not required.

Proven Performance: Strong documented history of top performance and consistent achievement of sales targets.

Analytical & Technical Aptitude: Good technical aptitude with the ability to understand data, systems, and sales processes.

Leadership Mindset: Highly motivated, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt and lead effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) preferred.
