Your Role:
As a Corporate Accountant, you will:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Cash Flow reports.
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including journal entries, accruals, and comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
- Execute end-to-end tax compliance by preparing and filing local tax returns such as VAT, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax.
- Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts to provide actionable financial insights to management.
- Facilitate external audits and statutory reporting by liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- Proven experience handling end-to-end accounting processes and month-end closing activities.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and local tax regulations.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Proficiency in accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience in a corporate environment, shared services, or a Big 4 audit firm.
- Experience working with multi-entity or international accounting environments.
- Strong background in internal controls and process improvement/automation.
