Position: Medical Quality Assurance Specialist

Report to medical auditor/QA manager to assure quality of care by enforcing adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements, Restore policies and procedures and other governing agency regulations.

• Determining skills checklists are completed andon file

• Sample Chart audits and other virtual medical auditing to ensure facility compliance with written medical protocols Ensure charts have required documents uploaded, alerts and notes present

• Communicate via email to nurses regarding corrections needed Identify patterns with safety incidents among locations/nurses

• Continue a close relationship with the education team to provide feedback/develop process improvements

• Oversight of safety incidents & follow-ups with RN
  Identifying unsafe practices and prompting medical team to re-create training tools based on trends

• Record all verbal and written warnings regarding medical protocol violations, help franchises determine appropriate plan of action
