Responsibilities

Estimating

• Use of Planswift

• Convert Drawing PDF files to Planswift.

• Generate takeoff information from Planswift to Microsoft Excel. Configure

• and update Excel integration.

• Confirm takeoff quantities.

• Scale, highlight, measure and estimate material quantities using Planswift.
  
  

• Evaluates bid documents to determine overall scope of project as well as

ensures that all bid forms are completed and properly executed.

• When projects are awarded, compare, review IFC drawing package if there are any changes.

• Review and update as per tender addendums.

Administrative

• Review tender invitations by email or search from bidding sites.

• Download tender files – drawings, specifications, and addendums.

• Participate in team/staff meetings when required.

Essential Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Architecture, related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum 1 year experience estimating in the commercial construction industry.

• Proficient in using Planswift, configuration and Integration with Excel

• Highly skilled using Microsoft Excel

• Ability to read and understand architectural construction drawings

• Ability to read and understand architectural specifications

• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to communicate effectively with tradespeople and suppliers
