About the job Paralegal

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting and formatting legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and client correspondence under supervision
  • Support attorneys and senior paralegals in preparing digital materials for virtual hearings, mediations, and court appearances
  • Organize and maintain electronic case files in compliance with firm standards, ensuring all documents are properly uploaded, labeled, and stored
  • Coordinate with third parties such as expert witnesses, process servers, and court personnel


Qualifications

  • Basic legal terminology knowledge
  • Document formatting (pleadings, declarations, discovery templates, letters, etc.)
  • Legal document review (spotting incomplete info, inconsistent formatting, or missing fields)
  • Data entry & document management (accurate input of case information in CMS, labeling PDFs, version control)
  • Calendar support (entering court deadlines or appointments based on instruction)
  • Email and written communication
  • Knowledge of the Spanish language is an advantage but not a requirement.
