Job Responsibilities Describe the job role and the day to day tasks involved. | • Create CNC cutting programs using CAD/CAM software. • Troubleshoot programming issues raised by production. • Keep program & cutting list current. • Continuous improvement: Improve programming process & get regular feedback from the production team to improve programming efficiency and the work results. • Propose design changes based on manufacturing capabilities. • Support engineering/methods teams with technical input on manufacturability. • Coordinate with engineering, methods & production teams. • Update, improve & revise products based on engineering changes. • Execute 3D modeling and 2D drawings. • Prepare fabrication drawings for our workshop. • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. |
Qualifications Describe the qualifications the staff must have in terms of skills and capabilities | • BS Mechanical Engineering or mechanical background. • Master the CAD/CAM software parameters. • Laser cutting computer assistance manufacturing (CAM) experience. • Background in manufacturing process. • 3D Modeling / 2D Drawing. • Relevant experience in SolidWorks. • Microsoft Office. • Press bending experience (an asset). • Autocad (an asset). |

The performance is based on the respect of the timeline, quality of the methods used to complete the task and the respect of applicable process. |
Working Hours Describe the work schedule the staff will follow Eg. 9am-6pm AEST. | The working schedule is 8am-5pm EST On site work only at Microsourcing’s office. |
