Responsibilities:

• Direct line management of the Trust Accountant, Building Company Accountant, and Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Officer
• Daily oversight and review of transactional accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, trust transactions, and general ledger entries
• Review and approval of journals, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• First-level authorisation of payments in accordance with internal approval frameworks
• Ownership and management of group-wide cashflow, including monitoring and forecasting
• Ensuring all bank, trust, and balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and reviewed
• Ensuring strict compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures

Private / Family Accounting Responsibilities:

• Oversight of personal accounting matters for family members based in Australia and Greece, including management of household and personal expenses

• Processing and oversight of invoice payments and recurring expenses for both Australian and Greek accounts

• Acting as the sole point of contact for family members in relation to their private accounting matters

• Delegation of transactional processing (e.g. invoice entry and payments) to the Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Officer where appropriate, while retaining full review, control, and accountability

• Ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timely handling of all private financial matters across multiple jurisdictions

Qualifications:

• Xero (essential – advanced user level)
• Oversight of data flowing from Property Tree and Builder trend into Xero
• Experienced accountant with strong transactional and management experience
• Demonstrated experience managing AP and AR staff
• Strong review, control, reconciliation, and cashflow management capabilities
