Your Role:

As a Senior Brand Designer, you will:

• Creative Leadership & Art Direction: Provide art direction, design critique, and strategic creative vision for marketing campaigns across a multi-brand portfolio.
• Team Management & Mentorship: Directly manage, coach, and review the output of Designers, managing workload distribution, studio priorities, and capability development.
• Multi-Channel Creative Execution: Design and produce high-impact assets across web, social, email, print, corporate presentations, motion graphics, and out-of-home channels.
• Brand & Accessibility Governance: Enforce strict brand identity rules and ensure all visual deliverables comply with web and document accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with Marketing, Product, and executive teams to clarify briefs, negotiate project timelines, and deliver commercially aligned design solutions.
• Studio Operations & Template Management: Manage creative workflows, optimize studio production systems, and maintain master asset libraries and design templates.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Senior Creative & Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional design experience, including direct people management or formal creative lead responsibility in a multi-brand environment.
• Design Portfolio & Art Direction: High-caliber portfolio demonstrating strategic art direction, brand development, and campaign execution across digital and print media.
• Mastery of Design Tools: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and digital design platforms (Figma/Canva).
• Brand, Prepress & WCAG Accessibility Expertise: Deep knowledge of prepress specifications, digital asset production, design systems, and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Studio Workflow & Project Prioritization: Proven track record of managing high-volume design queues, allocating team resources, and meeting tight operational deadlines.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Prior experience designing within financial services, superannuation, banking, or corporate wealth management.
• Advanced motion graphics, micro-animation, and video editing capabilities.
• Experience implementing or maintaining enterprise Design Systems and UI kit libraries in Figma.
• Solid experience optimizing studio workflows using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com).
