Your Role:

As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration solutions while supporting customer implementations and ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance.

• Support existing customer implementations and troubleshoot database and data-related issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
• Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Assist customers in debugging ETL issues, particularly those in the Australasia region.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions that enhance the customer experience.
• Build, maintain, and optimize databases to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop Python scripts to automate data-related processes and operational tasks.
• Apply data modeling, data warehousing, and ERP integration concepts to support business requirements.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in database management, ETL, and data integration.
• Work collaboratively with the team to improve technical solutions and customer satisfaction.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python.
• Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration techniques.
• Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in database design, management, and optimization.
• Experience working with MySQL or other relational database management systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) integrations.
• Background in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), food manufacturing, or related industries.
