Role Overview

As the Manila COE scales and transitions to the Maples FS (MFS) model, we are looking for a highly organized HR Specialist. Reporting through the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, you will serve as the primary on-site POC for our external partners and the central coordinator for local HR operations.

Your role is to ensure a flawless hand-off from candidate identification to day-one readiness, providing the local administrative "glue" that keeps our HR processes running smoothly together with the TA and HR Shared Services team (HRSS).

Core Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition Coordination (main role)

  • Serve as the day-to-day TA Point of Contact for the external recruitment partner, ensuring clear communication and alignment on hiring needs from the local hiring managers.
  • Own the workflow immediately following candidate identification for offer. You are responsible for facilitating the transition from the partner/vendor to the HRSS team for contract generation. (Note: process may evolve with Workday ATS deployment)
  • Liaise with local hiring teams to support interview scheduling, briefings, and manage the offer management process.
  • Provide support and guidance to the local hiring teams to ensure compliance to the global TA process.

2. Local HR Operations & Logistics (local onsite support for HRSS team)

  • Act as the local hands-on partner for the remote HRSS team to resolve employee inquiries and facilitate onboarding/offboarding steps.
  • Provide supplemental support for training needs and other on-site administrative tasks as required.
  • Provide ad-hoc admin support to the HRBP if needed.
  • Act as the on-site resource for employee questions regarding HMO (medical insurance) and local benefit programs.
  • Serve as local liaison for government agencies (SSS, Pag-Ibig, Philhealth and BIR) when required together with payroll vendor to resolve issues or concerns.
  • Together with the HRBP, ensure local policy governance and compliance with Philippine labor regulations.
