Your Role:

As a Software QA Analyst, you will:

• Assist the AVP of IT QA in defining and developing in-house quality procedures, standards, best practices, metrics, and new QA tools to ensure quality goals are met
• Collaborate with business and project teams to identify appropriate test coverage to support application delivery
• Develop test plans, create and execute test scripts, assess results, and report defects
• Help transition test cases from manual to automated execution
• Work with developers to identify and resolve defects, ensuring high-quality software delivery
• Understand the business application beyond software requirements
• Develop QA metrics across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing scenarios
• Manage risks and issues relating to test management and project deliverables
• Communicate testing results to all impacted stakeholders and manage resolution
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with multiple teams across the company

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• At least 3 years of system and integration testing experience
• Experience in defining and developing QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Strong working knowledge of databases and web-based applications
• Experience with Agile test techniques
• Proficiency in coding languages such as C# or Python and frameworks like TestNG, TDD, BDD, or Hybrid frameworks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Visual Studio)
• Familiarity with Jira, MS Project, ADO, or other project management tools
• Coding or scripting experience
• Prior experience in the mortgage or financial industry
• CSTE/ISTQB certification
