Your Role

The Production Control Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Production Control team, ensuring that production priorities, quality standards, procedures, and employee development requirements are consistently met.

The Team Lead serves as the primary point of support for technicians by providing guidance, coaching, and training while monitoring workload, quality, productivity, and adherence to established procedures. The role also supports the Production Control Manager in communicating operational updates, implementing policies, identifying recurring issues, and coordinating with relevant local and US-based stakeholders.

The position is expected to promote accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, and a professional working environment while ensuring that production requirements and priority files are handled appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily activities of assigned Production Control team members.
• Monitor team workload, productivity, quality, attendance, and overall performance.
• Ensure production requirements, priorities, and turnaround expectations are clearly understood and properly executed.
• Identify common or recurring production and quality errors and work with the appropriate stakeholders to address and resolve them.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to improve employee performance.
• Maintain awareness of current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Standards, and production guidelines.
• Ensure team members are informed of relevant process, quality, and policy updates.
• Communicate and coordinate with Management, other Team Leaders, SMEs, FTO, and US counterparts when necessary to ensure consistent implementation of standards.
• Attend required production, quality, and coordination meetings and communicate relevant information to the team.
• Support training activities, special projects, assessments, and employee development initiatives.
• Assist the Production Control Manager in maintaining an organized, productive, and professional working environment.
