Role Overview
This role covers a full range of forecasting, budget management, and investment analysis activities. The analyst will support strategic development, business monitoring, and operational decision-making while collaborating closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams.
This position emphasizes cost management, including ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes for key functional groups, as well as handling ad-hoc financial analysis requests.
Key Responsibilities
Produce monthly expense forecasts and financial reporting packages
Provide budget and expense reporting, analytics, and variance explanations to functional leaders
Drive budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and special projects
Analyze large datasets and translate them into meaningful financial insights
Conduct variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modeling
Support investment analysis, business cases, and ad-hoc financial requests
- Partner with functional budget owners on:
Monthly expense forecasts
Quarterly CAPEX forecasts
Performance tracking and KPI development
Serve as the primary Finance point of contact for assigned functional groups
Perform additional duties and projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (CPA is a plus)
2+ years of relevant work experience (public accounting experience is a plus)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity effectively
Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Advanced Excel skills required; PowerPoint proficiency is a plus
Experience with SAP is a plus
