Job Summary:

The Junior Certified Public Accountant supports the finance and accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and assisting in financial reporting and analysis. The role focuses on executing core accounting processes, preparing supporting financial documentation, and assisting senior finance staff in monitoring financial performance. Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting Support

● Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.

● Prepare supporting schedules and reconciliations for financial reports.

● Assist in analyzing financial data and identifying discrepancies or unusual variances.

Accounting Operations

● Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.

● Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.

● Process AP vouchers and record customer payments.

● Perform vendor, bank, and account reconciliations.

● Prepare basic general ledger journal entries for review by senior accountants. ● Assist with monitoring AR and AP aging reports.

● Support invoice processing and documentation management through financial portals or internal systems.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.

• Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines.

Skills and Capabilities

• Basic knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and tax compliance. • Familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
