Your Role:
As an Outbound Sales Team Lead - Card, you will:

  • Direct and motivate a team of Outbound Telesales Specialists to achieve collective daily and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Oversee outbound sales efforts for specific geographical areas and industries, specifically tailoring strategies for new-site openings.
  • Conduct regular call monitoring and "side-by-side" coaching sessions to refine the team’s pitch, objection handling, and active listening skills.
  • Audit the CRM database (ZOHO) to ensure leads are managed accurately and that the sales pipeline is healthy and moving toward conversion.
  • Partner with Credit, Customer Service, and Marketing Managers to streamline the onboarding process and resolve bottlenecks in the sales cycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value prospects or difficult customer interactions that require senior intervention.
  • Prepare weekly performance reports for senior leadership, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.

What You Need:
Non-negotiables:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and hit targets through a team in a high-volume outbound environment.
  • Expert-level phone manner, negotiation skills, and the ability to "close" complex or hesitant prospects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and shifting priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail regarding sales metrics, conversion rates, and CRM integrity.

Preferred skills / expertise:

  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills (specifically Excel for data analysis and reporting).
  • Proficiency in ZOHO CRM (or similar platforms) with the ability to train others on best practices.
  • 3+ years in inside sales or outbound telesales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or "Senior" capacity.
  • Experience supporting business growth during rapid expansion or new-site launches.
