\ Purpose of the Role \
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery across Manila Operations, ensuring that strategic initiatives, process improvement programs, and cross-functional projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards. This role acts as the central coordination point for project activity across all business units serviced by the Manila team, driving accountability, transparency, and structured delivery in a rapidly growing operational environment.
\ Context \
Wilson Group's Manila operations have grown significantly, now comprising 222 FTE across multiple business units including Wilson Parking, Wilson Security, First Security NZ, Medic One, and shared services. As the operation has scaled, Wilson must build its own project governance, frameworks, and delivery capability to match. This role is critical to establishing the rigour and structure needed to transition the Manila team from an ad-hoc, reactive delivery model to a mature, process-driven operation. The Senior Project Manager will be instrumental in standing up project management disciplines that underpin the broader operational transformation.
\ Key Responsibilities \
Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for operational initiatives, process improvement programs, and strategic change across all Manila business units.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, risk registers, RAID logs, and status reporting frameworks.
- Manage project budgets where applicable, tracking costs against approved allocations.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements through structured UAT and sign-off processes.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholder coordination across Manila operations and onshore business units.
- Facilitate regular project governance meetings, steering committees, and status updates with senior leadership.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related queries, escalations, and decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with onshore stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and delivery expectations.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to completion, ensuring sustainable outcomes and measurable benefits realisation.
- Establish and embed project management frameworks, methodologies, and templates appropriate to the Manila operations context.
- Track deliverables, risks, dependencies, and issues; proactively escalate and resolve blockers.
- Maintain a centralised project portfolio view to support prioritisation and resource allocation decisions.
- Contribute to the development of operational governance standards across the Manila team.
- Mentor and coach team members involved in project delivery, building project management capability across the operation.
- Champion a culture of structured delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support the GM Operations in identifying and scoping new initiatives that will improve operational outcomes.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects within an operational or BPO environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience reporting to senior leadership.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience working in or with offshore/nearshore operations or shared services environments.
- Familiarity with the Australian and New Zealand business and regulatory context.
- Experience with change management methodologies and frameworks.
