About the job Supervisor, Fund Accounting (Asia)
Role will be responsible for all or some of the following:
Responsible for the preparation and review of medium to complex net
asset valuations for a portfolio of hedge funds in accordance with
applicable policies and procedures;
Involvement in all client related administrative functions and liaison
with internal and external parties including investment managers,
prime brokers, custodians and other transaction counterparties for
transaction processing and NAV preparation in various international
jurisdictions, if required;
Liaison with auditors to provide requested information and respond to
queries, if required;
Develop a comprehensive understanding of constitutional
documentation and the operational structure of clients
Deliver high levels of client service, ensuring that each relationship is
compliant with internal policies and procedures;
Acting in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal risk
management requirements, including complying with all policies and
procedures and internal guidance notes;
Acquire and develop a mastery of the systems used for client and
internal reporting;
Assisting managers in compiling ad hoc reports and operational
metrics as required by management;
Coordinate with various teams within the organization to ensure client
queries and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
Provide training and guidance to the junior staff;
Reporting business issues to the relevant management ;
Ensure the proprietary database is completed with accurate data by
the take-on point of the client
Reviewing data entry for new client and fund setups and
management reports;
Responding to internal stakeholder queries promptly, accurately
and with a high degree of professionalism;
Developing effective working relationships with internal
stakeholders, and other relevant parties, and responding promptly
and professionally to requests;
Displaying a strong team focus and willingness to assist other team
members when required;
Assisting team members with general administrative tasks and
liaising with other departments as required.
