Tooling Administrative Officer Areas of Accountability (50% of capacity)
Process Governance & Coordination
Contribute to the creation and establishment of new tooling processes and
policies that will support the procurement, credit risk management and
safeguarding of these investments.
Administer and maintain the tooling lifecycle in alignment with established
controls and processes by liaising with the General Manager of Research and
Development, Procurement team, Branch Managers, and Sales teams to
coordinate tooling activities and ensure correct documentation flow.
Ensure proper governance of business case evaluations, credit assessments, tool
release approvals and custody.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare reporting on tooling performance, asset recovery status, and outstanding
customer compliance.
Maintain audit trails and escalate compliance risks to the Credit team and relevant
stakeholders.
Perform investment analysis on tooling investment proposals and provide data
insights that support the CFOs decision-making process.
Tooling Administration & Compliance
Raise tooling invoices in accordance with transaction terms and safeguard
investments by tracking custody throughout the life cycle of the tools ensuring
proper documentation and stakeholder coordination.
Manage credit risk evaluations and ensure timely lodgement of PPSR registrations.
Help create and maintain automated tooling performance logs, customer
reporting, and reminders / follow-ups to internal teams on outstanding
performance obligations and overdue tool recoveries.
Experience
At least 5 Years experience in a Financial Accounting and Analysis role
in an organization with multiple business units.
Experience navigating a set of financial statements (Balance Sheet,
Profit & Loss Statement, and Cashflows) and an understanding of how
they map to the general ledger and subledger.
Experience collaborating with business teams remotely with ability to
engage, understand needs, and provide actionable insights.
Previous experience in a manufacturing and /or distribution business
would be ideal.
Microsoft D365 experience an advantage.

Financial Accountant Areas of Responsibility (50% of capacity)
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Work with the Management Reporting team to post journals and deliver accurate
monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage assigned areas of the financials and ensure integrity of financial
statement accounts.
Investigate the nature and accuracy of unusual postings by tracing a transaction
from GL journal to the subledger to ensure that transactions are costed and coded
correctly.
Support senior accountants in delivering regulatory obligations on time and with
minimal findings.
Management Reporting & Business Partnering
Assist in the analysis of budget-to-actuals with insightful commentary for
management and operations teams.
Prepare and report on assigned key areas of the business performance which will
include KPIs and manufacturing operation metrics.
Communicating to Financial Planning & Analysis team on queries related to
customer sales margin, product mix, and interpreting reports in power BI and
budgeting tools (e.g. Phocus).
Assist in driving national policy and internal control framework development to
enhance financial governance.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Support the delivery of finance projects that help achieve strategic corporate
initiatives.
Liaise with stakeholders to resolve outstanding items and accelerate financial close
to targeted closing date.
Develop a strong understanding of company business drivers.
Proactive to improve company systems and data integrity.
Systems & Automation
Learn from senior team members and share personal insights on automation of
repetitive tasks, Excel modelling, and process improvement.
Assist in the design and implementation of automation initiatives using AI
capabilities.
