About the job Recruiter (Intermediate)
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Recruiter to support our hiring efforts. This role will initially focus on recruiting, screening, and coordinating interviews for residential and commercial roofing sales representatives. Over time, the position may expand to support additional operational and administrative needs.
The ideal candidate has experience recruiting high-performance professionals across various verticals, including sales, and is strongly driven and goal oriented.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Partner with Leadership to understand hiring goals, candidate profiles, and performance expectations
- Draft and post job advertisements on relevant job boards (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn recruiting, social media, and outbound other outreach
- Review resumes and applications; conduct initial qualification screenings
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Track applicants and maintain accurate records
- Support offer letter preparation and onboarding coordination
Pipeline & Process Management
- Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates
- Track recruiting metrics
- Recommend improvements to hiring process and candidate experience
- Ensure consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout hiring process
- Help improve recruiting systems and SOPs
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Recruiting & Sales Experience
- 2+ years of recruiting experience (some sales recruiting preferred)
- Experience recruiting for performance-driven roles
- Familiarity with U.S. hiring practices
Sourcing & Technology
- Strong LinkedIn Recruiter and/or Boolean search skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Ability to manage candidate pipelines independently
Communication Skills
- Excellent English (written and verbal)
- Professional phone presence
- Ability to confidently interview and evaluate candidates
