  • Key Accountabilities

  • 1. Transaction Services Operations (Execution Focus)

  • Support the end‑to‑end delivery of AP, AR, and Buyer/Trust & Settlements processes in line with agreed SLAs and control standards.

  • Ensure daily, weekly, and month‑end transactional activities are completed accurately and on time.

  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues prior to Head of Transaction Services involvement.

  • Ensure consistent application of policies, SOPs, and control frameworks across teams.

  • 2. Accounts Receivable

  • Oversee invoicing, receipting, and allocation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Monitor aged receivables and support proactive follow‑up and dispute resolution.

  • Review debtor reconciliations and ensure differences are investigated and resolved.

  • Support credit control activities and adherence to customer terms.

  • 3. Accounts Payable

  • Oversee invoice processing, approvals, and payment runs to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  • Review AP reconciliations, GRIR, and parked invoices, ensuring aged items are actively cleared.

  • Support vendor query resolution and maintain strong supplier relationships.

  • Ensure GST and tax requirements are correctly applied to supplier transactions.

  • 4. Buyer / Trust & Settlements

  • Support the compliant operation of Buyer and Seller settlements in accordance with trust legislation.

  • Review trust account reconciliations and ensure daily/periodic balancing is completed.

  • Monitor settlement timing, fee deductions, and exception handling.

  • Support audit requests, evidence gathering, and issue remediation related to trust accounts.

  • 5. Controls, Compliance & Risk

  • Ensure key financial controls are executed, evidenced, and reviewed in line with audit requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and responses.

  • Identify control gaps, recurring issues, or operational risks and escalate with recommendations.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including GST and regulatory reporting inputs.

  • 6. Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Support SAP S/4HANA process optimisation across AP, AR, and Trust processes.

  • Drive adoption of standardised processes, automation, and reporting improvements.

  • Assist with testing, training, and rollout of system enhancements.

  • Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and RACI clarity.

  • 7. Team Leadership & Capability

  • Provide day‑to‑day leadership, guidance, and coaching to team members.

  • Review work outputs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.

  • Support onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer for new and offshore team members.

  • Act as delegate for the Head of Transaction Services during periods of absence.

  • 8. Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Legal, IT, and Commercial teams to resolve transactional issues.

  • Provide clear, timely operational updates and reporting to the Head of Transaction Services.

  • Support executive‑level reporting with accurate data and commentary.
