About the job Certified Public Accountant
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to management.
Tax Compliance & Planning:
- Prepare and submit local and national tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Ensure timely compliance with all tax regulations, minimizing tax liabilities and identifying opportunities for tax savings.
Accounting Management:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
- AP Voucher Entry and cash application
- AR cash recording
- Vendor reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- GL JE preparation
- Standard / actual costing of inventory receipts
- Invoice management with portals
- AR / AP aging reviews
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Analyze financial data to support business forecasting and performance measurement.
Internal Controls & Audit:
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure financial integrity and prevent fraud.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors during the audit process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
- Track cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
- Provide recommendations on improving liquidity and optimizing cash flow.
Strategic Financial Guidance:
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.
- Collaborate with senior management to set financial goals and performance targets.
