About the job Certified Public Accountant

  Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to management.

  Tax Compliance & Planning:

  • Prepare and submit local and national tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other applicable taxes.
  • Ensure timely compliance with all tax regulations, minimizing tax liabilities and identifying opportunities for tax savings.

  Accounting Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
  • AP Voucher Entry and cash application
  • AR cash recording
  • Vendor reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • GL JE preparation
  • Standard / actual costing of inventory receipts
  • Invoice management with portals
  • AR / AP aging reviews

 

  Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Analyze financial data to support business forecasting and performance measurement.

  Internal Controls & Audit:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure financial integrity and prevent fraud.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors during the audit process to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

  • Track cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
  • Provide recommendations on improving liquidity and optimizing cash flow.

  Strategic Financial Guidance:

  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set financial goals and performance targets.
