OBJECTIVE

The role of the Manager, Paralegal & Compliance, is to oversee and execute the organization’s commercial agreements, and support regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. This position is responsible for managing contract compliance efforts across client and vendor agreements mitigating company risk, audit support activities and regulatory compliance initiatives.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

  1. Prepare legal documents—including Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements, 3rd Party Collections, and Vendor Agreements—for leadership approval.
  2. Perform comparative analysis between client contracts and organizations standard language and terms leveraging AI technology where applicable
  3. Manage the complete process form agreement intake, processing, analysis, negotiation support, approval, execution and reporting metrics leverage technology such as Docusign IAM
  4. Engage Sales organization and Clients to support execution of commercial agreements

SECONDARY JOB DUTIES

  • Support, track and maintain organizations global licensing to ensure compliance with country requirements
  • Support, track and maintain organizations insurance policies to include renewals, amendments and coverage
  • Perform audit support on defined processes to include but not limited to executed and non-executed commercial contrasting total client base
  • Ensure governance of commercial agreements to include execution, repository management and access controls

COMPETENCIES

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience
  • Ability to leverage AI tools such as Copilot & Docusign IAM to perform commercial agreement analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Strong analytical skills to compare client commercial agreements to organizations approved language
  • Ability to understand legal language/terms and translate to business use cases
  • Attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Familiarity with legal terminology
  • Proficiency in legal documentation and process execution tools (e.g., Docusign IAM)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position does not require supervisory responsibilities. This position is an individual contributor.

WORK HOURS

It is essential that this position adhere to the assigned work schedule. This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, typically between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm EST/EDT, subject to change with advanced notice. Specific schedules will be assigned on an individual basis by the manager/supervisor of the position. This position may be required to work off-hours to accommodate time zones.

TRAVEL

Minimal travel is expected for this position, up to 4 times per year based on location

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education (GED) and at least 8 years of progressive experience in a paralegal, client facing, compliance, audit support, or related role

FLUENCY

This position requires fluency in the English language. Fluency in other languages may be required based on location, client, department, or project.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates either in an office setting or a remote work environment. This role may routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, headsets, telephones, photocopiers/printers, and related. The noise level in the office setting is limited to quiet and the work environment noise level will vary based on the individual’s remote work environment.
