Your Role:
As a Direct Sales Consultant, you will:
- Engage existing customers via an outbound dialer to cross-sell novated leasing and other workplace benefits.
- Educate employees on the mechanics of salary packaging, helping them understand how it can reduce their taxable income and simplify car ownership.
- Qualify potential customers as genuine leads by identifying their needs and readiness to convert into car leasing clients.
- Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to call volume, lead generation, and sales targets.
- Manage customer interactions with a courteous and professional demeanor, ensuring all provided information is accurate and polite.
- Provide feedback to management on campaign outcomes and offer recommendations to improve lead conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate data on all created leads to support departmental reporting and sales tracking.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients to anticipate needs and improve the overall service delivery.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Sales Drive: A proven passion for "hardcore" selling and a determination to achieve high-volume results in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal skills with the ability to translate complex financial benefits into clear, persuasive concepts for customers.
- Call Center Experience: Demonstrated success in outbound or inbound call center environments, specifically in sales-driven roles.
- Resilience & Maturity: Self-assured and confident when interacting with people at all levels, even during challenging sales calls.
- Time Management: Ability to organize tasks effectively and work toward tight deadlines without sacrificing service quality.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Prior experience in Cross-Selling within the finance or insurance sectors.
- Background in Novated Leasing or Salary Packaging is a significant advantage.
- Further studies or certifications in Sales or Business Development.
- Ability to identify and "close" sales opportunities by recognizing subtle customer buying signals.
- Experience working with specific employer-based marketing campaigns.
