Requirements:

- Minimum Qualification: Chartered Accountant (Qualified).

- Experience: 8 - 10 Years (post-qualification experience) 

Responsibilities:

- To strengthen and standardization of the finance operation across Midas- PK and develop favourable end-to-end support system for country level payables management.

- To ensure Management & Statutory reporting, setting timelines for reporting within country entities and strict adherence to corporate reporting timelines and standards for timely presentation of results in compliance with local GAAP/IFRS.

-Lead the preparation and consolidation of the Pakistan regions budget, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and close collaboration with business finance teams.

-Oversee and manage all merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions for Midas Safety Pakistan, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and seamless integration of acquired entities with respect to reporting and taxation related matters.

- To drive strategic and reporting processes including simplification and standardization, analysing business performance (P&L and OWC numbers), identifying gaps, risk & opportunities, highlighting areas for improvement and constructively challenging business performance to support high profitable growth in the areas.

- To maintain financial controls by reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations, audit issue closures, adherence of policies and SOPs and leading internal control improvement initiatives to promote controlled driven complaint culture.

- Own the end-to-end taxation function, including direct and indirect taxes (corporate income tax, GST/VAT, customs duties, withholding taxes, etc.) including international taxation/ double taxation treaties.

-Lead tax optimization strategies across the Pakistan region by proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency, ensuring compliance, and driving necessary structural and process changes to achieve sustainable tax benefits.

 - Act as the primary liaison with tax authorities, auditors, consultants, and regulators, including handling audits, assessments. 

- Drive tax planning and optimization initiatives in line with business strategy while managing risk and compliance.

- To systemize collection / filing processes to ensure a streamlined system coordinated between commercial and finance leads of businesses with intervention at corporate level.

- Lead, coach, and develop the reporting and taxation team, setting clear goals and performance standards.

- Enable business with insights, analysis, and recommendations on financial and tax matters affecting manufacturing operations.
