Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration (BBA – Supply Chain Management)
  • Experience: 3–4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG or Textile industry. Practical exposure to Engineering Procurement, Contracts, and Logistics-related sourcing

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective coordination with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Administration teams to support procurement of engineering items, consumables, and services.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials in line with approved lead times and production requirements.
  • Carry out alternate source development for single-source and critical materials as per defined procedures.
  • Manage vendor performance, including evaluations, scorecards, and on-site supplier visits within defined timelines.
  • Ensure timely creation, release, and circulation of Purchase Orders (POs) following Purchase Requisition (PR) approvals.
  • Ensure that all supplier invoices are received and parked within the same month in coordination with finance/accounts.
  • Handle end-to-end contract management, including drafting, negotiation, finalization, renewal, and compliance monitoring.
  • Independently negotiate transport and logistics contracts, ensuring cost optimization, service reliability, and adherence to contractual terms.
  • Coordinate with legal/admin stakeholders where required to ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and risk standards.
  • Maintain complete procurement and contract documentation to ensure audit readiness and policy compliance.
