Requirements:
Qualification:
-Chartered Accountant (Qualified)
Experience:
-At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting.
Technical Expertise:
-Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting frameworks, accounting standards, and audit procedures, with proficiency in MS Excel and SAP ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for timely month-end closing activities and accurate corporate/group financial reporting.
-Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
-Maintain effective internal financial controls, reporting procedures, and compliance frameworks to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
-Prepare statutory financial statements, annual budgets, forecasts, budgeted balance sheets, cash flow projections, and working capital plans while monitoring budget performance against targets.
-Liaise with external auditors, internal auditors, and consultants, ensuring timely provision of financial data and support during audits and reviews.
-Review key financial and management reports including Management Accounts, Board Reports, Cost Statements, Labor Cost Analysis, Debtor & Creditor Ageing, Fixed Asset Schedules, and management presentations.
-Ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany balances and issuance of debit/credit notes for group companies.
-Oversee finance operations and accounts payable processes, including review of purchase vouchers and bank payment vouchers to ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
-Review expense postings, GL allocations, cost center accuracy, GRIR reports, and ageing analysis while advising corrective actions where required.
-Track financial KPIs, maintain accurate financial records, and provide analytical reports and insights to management for effective decision-making and operational improvement.
