Senior Officer HSE

Requirements:

• Qualifications: B.E. (Chemical/Environmental). 
• Experience: Minimum 2 – 3 Years of relevant experience in HSE.

Responsibilities:

The job holder will support the HSE Lead in implementing, communicating, and coordinating HSE programs across the company, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulations. The role will promote a strong safety culture, support safe operations, and contribute to minimizing workplace incidents.

• Assist HSE Lead in the implementation of MSM and legal requirements to meet compliance, HSE goals and objectives.
• Assist HSE Lead in implementing LCRMA (legal compliance and risk management audit) plan for smooth operations.
• Coordinate with departments for gathering HSE data to prepare site performance parameters (SLIs, SMH and TRIR).
• Follow up strongly for closure of all action items raised to maintain site safety leading indicators.
• Enhance HSE awareness among all the employees by giving HSE orientation to new joiners, transferred employees, floor supervisors, and workers. Conduct audit for effective implementation of PTW, PPEs, and LOTOTO system to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Inspect fire and safety equipment and ensure that they are in working condition at all times.
• Help departments in conducting JHA and Risk assessments to prevent incident and injuries.
• Ensure 100% compliance of policies and procedures related to elements/ guidelines of the Midas Safety Management (MSM) system and HSE responsibilities defined in Annexure-II for ready reference.
