HSE Lead

Requirements:

• Qualification: B.E (Chemical / Energy & Environment) - NEBOSH & IOSH would be an added advantage.
• Experience: 8 - 10 years of relevant experience preferably from manufacturing industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.

Responsibilities:

• To assist/guide the business units in implementation and audit of regulatory compliance and Midas Safety Management System and prepare audit reports and onboard stakeholders to develop actions and solutions and take follow-up till closure of actions.
• To review safety, fire protection and loss containment of hazardous materials related issues with business units and recommend actions and solutions and follow-up till the closure.
• To provide support to business units in investigating serious injuries and accidents or conduct investigation when assigned and Issue investigation report.
• Support business unit to develop annual safety theme and its corresponding promotional program to strengthen the safety culture across SGL.
• To identify, assist/guide and review site HSE specific manuals and procedures such as Emergency Response and contingency plan to support HSE system and compliance with corporate intent and to verify implementation of MOC, HSE Rule, standards and procedures in operations & in project activities during modification and upgradation.
• To review and approve site training calendar and provide HSE trainings to enable site team to completely fulfill their safety responsibilities.
