About the Role:
The Corporate Reporting Manager plays a hands-on leadership role and ensures timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with parent company requirements. This position leads the external audit by being the main point of contact and preparing or coordinating the preparation of audit request. Responsible for the implementation of new accounting standards, processes, and systems. Provides technical accounting advice, guidance, and analysis as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate financial reporting or accounting (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Adobe, Microsoft D365 ERP system, advanced Excel, and Power Business Intelligence (BPI) preferred.
- CPA certification.
- Experience in the non-durable goods manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in month-end close and account reconciliation process at subsidiary level.
- Prepare additional monthly financial reporting and supporting analysis in parent company format to Corporate Reporting function based in UK.
- Lead external audit by being the main point of contact, preparing or coordinating the preparation of audit requests in a timely manner.
- Assist in annual budget process.
- Manage and develop direct report, Senior Corporate Reporting Accountant
- Provide technical accounting guidance and research as requested. Implement new accounting standards as required.
- Provide Cash Flow projections to parent company treasury function.
- Assist with internal controls development and monitoring.
- Provide analysis as requested.
