Position Description - CDL Delivery Driver

Overview Delivery Driver LVL 2 is a high position within the Customer Service Department. This position reports directly to the Dispatcher.

Objective:   Safely and professionally perform Deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Valid PA Commercial Driver License
  • Able to stand and kneel for extended periods of time
  • Able to climb ladders and work from heights
  • Able to work in the elements year-round
  • Able to work various shifts based on changing business needs
  • Customer Service Attire - Yard as defined by the Company Handbook

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Objectives of the Customer Service Department
  • Friendly, Professional interaction with Customers and Staff
  • Clean Uniform and Well-Groomed Appearance
  • Provide Insight for Business Improvement and Efficiency
  • Professionally Represent and Promote Company

Duties:

  • Assist Dispatcher in Completion of Customer Orders, and in the
  • Organization of Delivery Trucks and Routes.
  • Prepare Orders and Vehicles for Delivery
  • Confirm Accurate Quantity and Quality of Order Materials
  • Perform Safe, Timely and Efficient Deliveries
  • Protect Product through Ownership Transfer
  • Assure Order Fulfillment and Customer Satisfaction
  • Properly perform Paperwork to Complete Order
  • Professionally Represent and Promote the Company
  • Assist with Team Training as needed by Dispatcher
  • Monitor and Communicate Capacity Needs or Concerns
