This is a great opportunity for anyone who is keen to gain marketing, digital, PR & customer Service experience in the social enterprise and charity sector, and also to get to know our amazing team and to make a real difference to the lives of the refugees and migrants we support.
WHAT TASKS WE NEED SUPPORT WITH
The role will require a mixture of tasks focusing on supporting the marketing team. The volunteer will provide support to both the Marketing Manager and the PR & Media Officer. There will be a range of duties to support the implementation of the marketing & PR strategy, as well as the opportunity to work on specific projects, supporting the ongoing development of the organisation.Some of these tasks may include:
Content research
Content writing
Press relations
Publicity
Social media posting
Website design
Website update
Media production
Digital campaigns
Other marketing/digital-related tasks
THE KIND OF PERSON WERE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for passionate, efficient and committed individuals with great communication skills. Someone who is efficient, flexible and resourceful, with a calm and friendly manner, and a keen eye for detail will do well in our team. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships with people at every level. TIME COMMITMENT
The voluntary placement would last for 3 months, for a suggested time of 3 or 4 days a week depending on your availability. Travel to our office (EC1R) and lunch expenses will be reimbursed.
