We partner closely with customers to bring complex ideas to life through scalable software solutions and AI‑enabled digital transformation.
We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you will engage with customers post‑sale to design and deliver custom software solutions built on an enterprise low‑code platform. You will work across the full project lifecycle—definition, design, development, and implementation—supporting commercial clients in transforming how they operate.
Key Responsibilities
- Work throughout the end‑to‑end project lifecycle to define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions
- Collaborate with customers to understand business processes, functional requirements, and technical needs within an agile delivery environment
- Design and deploy relational data models in production environments
- Develop and integrate APIs to connect multiple systems and data sources
- Identify, design, and implement AI use cases, including:
- Retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG)
- Agent‑based workflows
- Prompt engineering
- Use of modern generative AI models
- Partner with customer technical teams and business stakeholders across the full software development lifecycle
- Drive customer adoption by enabling teams to become self‑sufficient in building and maintaining process applications
Work Environment
This role is based at the company's headquarters in McLean, VA. The organization operates with a strong in‑person collaboration model, and employees in this role are expected to be onsite 4–5 days per week. This approach supports shared problem solving, close customer alignment, and strong cross‑team relationships.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing others, with experience leading small teams through post‑sale software implementations
- Ability to work directly with clients to define business processes and gather functional and technical system requirements
- Excellent communication skills, strong problem‑solving instincts, and a mindset of continuous learning
- Proven success working on cross‑functional teams using agile methodologies (pair programming, stand‑ups, sprint planning, and sprints)
- Foundational understanding of object‑oriented programming
- Experience working with relational databases, data modeling, and SQL (queries, joins, views, etc.)
- Knowledge of software testing practices, including test‑driven development and automated testing within CI frameworks
- Experience with system integrations using REST or SOAP APIs, JDBC connections, and web services
- Familiarity with modern cloud and platform technologies such as:
- AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Analytics tools
- Application integration and governance
- Containerized environments (preferred)
Basic Requirements
- Active U.S. Government clearance (Top Secret or higher), with no limitations
- Ability and willingness to maintain an active TS/SCI clearance (CI or FLS), including performing work in cleared facilities (SCIF access required)
- 3+ years of hands‑on software development or technical consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
- Willingness to travel up to 10% annually to support customer engagements
Compensation
Salary: This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $140,000, aligned with experience and scope of responsibility. Additional compensation is provided based on clearance requirements, including a clearance differential ranging from $10,000 to $25,000, depending on clearance level. Employees are also eligible for additional compensation opportunities and equity awards, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), as part of a comprehensive total rewards and benefits package.
