Specialty RN (Travel) - Nova Scotia

Job Title: Specialty RN (Emergency) – Travel Assignment
Location: Nova Scotia
Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks

Compensation & Benefits:

• Bi-weekly payments
• Travel package included: airfare, car rental, and accommodations fully covered

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts: 0700–1900 (Days) or 1900–0700 (Nights)
• 4 shifts per week

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 8-week travel assignment in Nova Scotia. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident delivering high-quality patient care in emergency settings.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• ACLS / BLS
• Specialty RN experience is required
• Ability to plan, organize and problem solve
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
• Ability to work independently and as a team member, with excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer application

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  
• Specialty RN experience required
  
• Current ACLS certification preferred
  
• Familiarity with CTAS (Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale) preferred
  
• Active Nova Scotia (NS) Nursing License
  
• Up-to-date immunization records
  
• Valid Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
