Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Outbound Logistics

• Support daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
• Determine efficient shipping methods based on urgency, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments in accordance with company standards.
• Verify shipping documentation including packing slips and courier manifests.
• Coordinate with third-party carriers and logistics providers when required.

Receiving & Inventory Handling

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
• Sort and route materials to appropriate storage or operational areas.
• Accurately record and track inventory movements.

Storage Organization & Warehouse Optimization

• Lead and support structured inventory reorganization initiatives.
• Clean, sort, label, and categorize inventory and materials for streamlined retrieval.
• Maintain organized storage systems to improve workflow and reduce handling time.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and reconciliation processes.

Equipment & Physical Operations

• Operate pallet jacks safely to move materials within the facility.
• Load and unload shipments manually or with appropriate equipment.
• Lift, push, and pull packages and pallets weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Maintain clear aisles and safe material stacking in compliance with safety standards.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow Occupational Health & Safety guidelines and internal safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Adhere to company procedures when handling sensitive or high-value shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics operations.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Clear criminal record check (required due to handling high-value shipments).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic familiarity with shipping carriers and warehouse equipment is an asset.
