Mimak Services is working with a large law firm in the Toronto that specializes in providing high-quality legal services to our clients. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis.

As a Real Estate Law Clerk at Mimak Services, you will be responsible for managing a variety of real estate law matters and providing support to our team of lawyers. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work on files from start to finish, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their skill set and take on more responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting title searches, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and preparing closing documents
• Communicating with clients, real estate agents, and other parties involved in real estate transactions
• Managing files from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Assisting lawyers with research, document preparation, and other tasks as needed
• Maintaining accurate and organized files and records
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in real estate law and regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law matters
• Law Clerk of Ontario certification is required 
• Strong knowledge of real estate law and procedures
•  Excellent organizational and time-management skills
•  Ability to work independently and manage multiple files simultaneously
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software
•  Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•  Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
