The company is seeking an Automation Technician to assemble and fit components, precision tooling, and robotic systems for special-purpose machinery and factory automation projects.

Job Descriptions:

  • Assemble electro-mechanical equipment in accordance with supplied documentation.
  • Read, interpret, and follow technical procedures, instructions, documents and drawings.
  • Apply specified manufacturing methods, techniques, and procedures as defined in documentation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electro- mechanical equipment issues, implement corrective actions or provide recommendations for solutions.
  • Analyze test results against design or rated specifications and test objectives and perform necessary modification or adjustments to ensure compliance.
  • Review and discuss project procedures, instructions, and specifications to identify, modify and plan effective approaches for fabrication, assembly and testing.
  • Provide input to engineering and manufacturing management on potential changes to design, manufacturing methods and assembly procedures or techniques.
  • Use precision measuring tools and operate precision test equipment accurately.
  • Operate hand tools, drill presses, grinders and other machinery to modify tested parts or fabricate experimental parts for testing purposes.
  • Comply with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain compliance with ISO quality standards.

Requirements:

  • STPM/ Diploma/ Polytechnics or relevant certifications in a technical or engineering field or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician or an equivalent role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in spoken/ read and written in English
  • Familiar with machinery and tools, including their design, application, repair, and maintenance.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical documentation to determine assembly methods and sequences.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively communicate and provide timely, accurate technical feedback that may impact machine performance and specifications to relevant functional teams.
