Job Summary:
The Quality Manager will lead and implement quality management systems in compliance with ISO standards, focusing on product inspection, process efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and operational excellence.
Job Description:
1. Quality Management:
- Own and continuously improve the QMS in compliance with ISO, customer, and corporate requirements.
- Lead CAPA, root cause analysis, and non-conformance management.
- Manage supplier quality performance, audits, corrective actions, and compliance.
- Ensure process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new and existing processes.
- Monitor KPIs and reduce COPQ (scrap, rework, warranty, claims).
- Align quality objectives with business goals across departments.
- Own and manage the annual audit program.
- Plan and lead internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits.
- Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of findings.
- Drive corrective actions and system improvements.
- Report audit performance and compliance status to Management/HQ.
- Lead customer complaints, claims, and returns management.
- Ensure timely investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Monitor delivery quality performance and defect rates.
- Coordinate cross-functional resolution and prevention actions.
- Lead site OpEx framework and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
- Monitor productivity, yield, waste, and efficiency performance.
- Promote Lean, Kaizen, and best practices.
- Report OpEx performance to Management.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, legal, and scheduled waste requirements.
- Manage regulatory reporting and liaise with authorities.
- Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
- Report EHS performance and compliance status.
- Maintain controlled procedures, records, and document control.
- Ensure compliance with customer, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage engineering and quality changes.
- Lead and develop the Quality team.
- Define KPIs, manage manpower, training, and performance evaluation.
- Foster accountability and continuous improvement culture.
- Manage departmental budget and resource utilization.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management.
Requirement:
- Professional certificate or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Quality Management within the EMS industry.
- Strong experience in implementing and maintaining ISO QMS, with solid knowledge of 8D, FMEA, and APQP methodologies.
- In-depth hands-on experience in SMT, THT, and PCB assembly processes, with strong understanding of complex electronic manufacturing.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive quality initiatives in a dynamic business environment.
- Hands-on and proactive with strong analytical skills, capable of identifying root causes and driving continuous improvement.
- Good command of English (verbal and written) and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
