Job Description:

  • Manage end-to-end warehouse operations in a high-mix, fast-turn EMS environment, including receiving, storage, kitting, and shipping of electronic components and finished goods.
  • Ensure full compliance with LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) regulationstrack and report bonded and non-bonded materials, submit monthly ZB1, ZB2 reports, and manage duty exemption records.
  • Handle all customs clearance activities including documentation preparation (K1, K2, K8, CJ5, etc.), liaison with customs officers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies (MITI, MIDA, Kastam).
  • Oversee accurate inventory management via ERP/WMS systems (SAP, BaaN, InforLN) including FIFO, shelf-life, MSD (moisture-sensitive device) control, and ESD safety compliance.
  • Lead kitting and line-feeding processes to support SMT, PCBA, and box-build lines, ensuring on-time material availability aligned with production schedules.
  • Implement and monitor warehouse KPIs: inventory accuracy, kitting TAT, line shortage rate, stock aging, and warehouse utilization.
  • Plan and execute cycle counts, monthly stock take, and annual customs audits; investigate discrepancies and drive root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of storekeepers, logistics assistants, and forklift drivers; promote 5S, ESD, safety, and SOP adherence.
  • Coordinate scrap disposal and return-to-vendor (RTV) processes, ensuring documentation complies with LMW and internal control standards.
  • Manage import/export logistics, freight cost optimization, and shipping arrangements to support global customers and suppliers.
  • Support NPI and project teams in setting up material flow, storage locations, and logistics strategy for new programs or product transfers.
  • Drive continuous improvement in warehouse layout, automation opportunities (e.g., barcode scanning, digital kanban), and cost-saving initiatives.

Job requirements:

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field5+ years experience in logistics/warehouse, with leadership roleStrong knowledge of inventory and warehouse systems (WMS, ERP)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
