6629 - Engineering Manager(Molding)

Job Description:

• Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team to achieve departmental and company objectives.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily engineering activities to support production targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, yield, and cost efficiency.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Oversee equipment installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Manage engineering projects, including timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and R&D to resolve technical issues.
• Analyze manufacturing data and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, and DOE.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.
• Support customer audits, supplier audits, and internal audits.
• Manage engineering budgets, capital expenditure (CAPEX), and equipment investment.
• Drive automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 8–10 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. At least 3–5 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
3. Experience in EMS, automotive, medical devices, semiconductor, precision engineering, or related manufacturing industries is preferred.
4. Proven experience in project management, process improvement, and people management.
5. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement.
