6499 - Purchasing Manager

Job Description 

• Lead the purchasing function and manage a team of buyers/schedulers
• Source and qualify suppliers for materials, spares, and indirect categories
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and service commitments
• Build strong supplier relationships and track performance metrics
• Collaborate with planning/ops/engineering to align demand forecasts
• Ensure on‑time delivery while balancing cost, quality, and inventory levels
• Drive cost reduction, continuous improvement, and procurement best practices
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
• 5+ years in procurement/sourcing with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle is an advantage)
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a purchasing team
• Analytical mindset with ability to drive cost & process improvements
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Currently at the level of Senior Executive or Assistant Manager are welcomed to apply.
