Job Responsible:

• Ensuring Workplace Safety: Developing safety guidelines, conducting safety checks, and ensuring all employees follow safety protocols.
• Risk Assessments: Identifying and assessing potential hazards and implementing measures to reduce risks.
• Training and Compliance: Conducting safety training for employees and ensuring compliance with health and safety laws.
• Incident Reporting: Investigating workplace accidents, identifying causes, and recommending ways to prevent them in the future.

Job requirement:

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and problem-solving.
• Ability to conduct safety training and promote safety awareness.
• Experience with accident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Attention to detail and proactive approach to workplace safety.
