Job Description:

Procurement Operations:

  • Oversee procurement activities to support both new project development and ongoing mass production.
  • Implement sourcing strategies aligned with company goals, balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

  • Maintain and regularly update a rolling 3-month procurement plan based on planner forecasts, with weekly/monthly reviews.

  • Manage purchase orders using ERP software (e.g., IFS or equivalent), ensuring timely confirmation from suppliers and expediting delayed deliveries.

  • Monitor and control inventory levels in line with sales targets, optimizing material flow and reducing excess.

  • Coordinate across departments to ensure raw materials availability meets production demand without compromising efficiency.

  • Ensure procurement activities remain within budget while continuously improving cost-effectiveness.

  • Address and resolve issues related to supplier delivery, product quality, or service delays.

  • Handle MRO and indirect purchasing needs, including process optimization, quotation reviews, PO issuance, and follow-up on outstanding orders.

Supply Management:

  • Maintain proactive communication with suppliers and escalate issues to the appropriate level when necessary.
  • Analyze supplier performance regularly and monitor market trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct periodic supplier assessments and audits to ensure consistent performance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with sourcing teams to drive material cost improvements and supplier evaluations

Docummentation & Reporting:

  • Ensure proper documentation of all procurement records for traceability and audit readiness.
  • Monitor and report on procurement KPIs daily, initiating improvement actions to meet annual performance goals.

Aditional Duties:

  • Support other related tasks as assigned by management on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Requirements:

    • Must from EMS PCBA background
    • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Hands-on experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within a manufacturing or EMS environment.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems such as IFS or similar platforms.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to manage external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Able to work collaboratively across departments with high attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
