The company looking for a Tool Design Engineer to support the design, development, and improvement of tooling solutions to meet manufacturing, quality, and cost objectives.

Job Descriptions:

• Design molds and develop accurate 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Develop complete plastic injection mold designs, including mold concepts and layouts.
• Prepare mold specifications, design checklists, and technical documentation
• Prepare detailed mold component and assembly drawings.
• Support product and tooling development, including molding process considerations.
• Ensure smooth transition from design to tooling fabrication, testing, and production trial runs.
• Identify and resolve design and technical issues in a timely manner.
• Verify tooling, programs, and design data for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all design activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within project timelines.
• Conduct and participate in DFM and tool design concept discussions with customers.
• Select appropriate steel materials to ensure tooling durability and service life.
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions for mold bases, components, and steel materials.
• Supervise shop-floor personnel and maintain discipline related to tooling activities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
