6704 - SMT Engineer(PCBA)

Job description:

• Oversee the SMT production process, including component placement, soldering, and inspection. 
• Troubleshoot, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze yield of SMT processes to ensure process capabilities and throughput.
• Analyze SMT defects to determine likely failure modes.
• Perform process validations as required, IQ/OQ/PQ, generate protocols and test reports
• Maintain processes, equipment, and SOPs.
• Supervise and train engineers/technicians.
• Collaborate with QA to meet quality standards.
• Manage equipment maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Monitor production KPIs and provide support.
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years of SMT experience.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SMT equipment (e.g., pick-and-place, reflow ovens).
• Familiar with PCBA process - SMT, Manual Insert, Wave Soldering, Auto Insert & Box Build process.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
