With a focus on innovation and efficiency, they are seeking a Shipping Manager to oversee and optimize their supply chain operations.
Job Purpose:
The Shipping Manager is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end Shipping & Logistic operations, including warehouse management, shipment coordination, customs declaration and compliance with Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory, material handling, storage, and stock control.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO and stock rotation practices to minimize obsolescence.
- Monitor warehouse space utilization and implement efficiency measures.
- Enforce safety, security, and compliance standards within the warehouse.
- Ensure timely and accurate inventory reconciliation and reporting.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery timelines.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all shipping and receiving activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to meet material and delivery requirements.
- Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies or damages in coordination with relevant departments.
- Manage customs documentation and ensure compliance with LMW regulations.
- Maintain accurate and auditable records of import/export activities.
- Ensure correct duty exemptions and adherence to all customs requirements.
- Liaise with customs authorities and regulatory bodies on compliance matters.
- Monitor and report key logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, warehouse utilization, cost savings, etc.)
Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in logistics and warehouse management.
- Hands-on experience with LMW compliance, customs declaration, and international shipping procedures
- Proven track record in managing freight forwarders, transportation, and warehouse teams.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and warehouse management.
- Deep understanding of customs regulations, LMW compliance, and international trade requirements.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
