The company are seeking a Purchasing Manager to strengthen the procurement and supply chain function by improving supplier management, cost efficiency, and inventory control, ensuring smooth support to production and business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the General Manager.
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain and purchasing operations, including procurement, supplier management, and inventory control.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure the timely delivery of
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure material availability aligns with operational and business needs.
  • Track, analyze, and report supply chain and procurement performance metrics, including lead time, cost efficiency, and delivery accuracy.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Lead and support supply chain and purchasing projects, including process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise, coach, and guide the supply chain and purchasing team to achieve departmental objectives. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory control, and supplier management
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills
  • Experience in sourcing, evaluating, and developing suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and drive decision-making
  • Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Good understanding of compliance, contract management, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain optimization initiatives is an added advantage
