Our client is into delivering outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, and financial support services with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency and teamwork. They are looking for a detail-oriented Internal Bookkeeper to support internal financial and administrative functions.
Job Overview
The Internal Bookkeeper will play a key role in managing the company's internal financial and administrative functions. This position involves handling payroll, preparing management reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall operational efficiency while ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management reports with KPIs
- Process payroll for local and overseas staff
- Handle STP finalisation and workers' compensation
- Maintain filing systems and internal records
- Assist with client engagement letters and ATO matters
- Support workflow scheduling and reporting by teams/entities
- Manage expense allocation and BAS for each entity
- Liaise with management on account queries
- Assist in improving bookkeeping and admin processes
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping or related field
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience (public practice preferred)
- Xero Advisor & Payroll Certification
- Strong knowledge of admin and bookkeeping procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently
